What Kiki found was a lone pot of soup, humming and bubbling over a crackling campfire. Kiki sat down and gave the pot a gentle, thoughtful stir so the soup wouldn’t scorch.
At that very moment, a soft, pearly light rose from the steam and drifted through the trees. One by one, other star-cats followed the sweet scent and the silvery starlight down to the woods.
